Dan in Front of the Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation’s Ultimate Playhouse, Built by Dan
Dan started his career in carpentry like many of the best in the trade, at the bottom of the Totem Poll at 15 Years Old. Dan spent years
Carrying Lumber, Loading Dumpsters, and Sweeping Floors. After High School, Dan joined a up with a Framing Crew, learning fast how
to build a home. By the time Dan was 23, he had his own Framing Crew.
Over the years, Dan moved from rough framing to the fine art of Finish Carpentry. Dan started D.J. O’Brien Carpentry with a goal of
Remodeling and Finish Carpentry and never looked back. Dan has been doing Remodeling jobs throughout the Western Suburbs, and
Specializes in Finish Trim Carpentry.
Whether it is a simple piece of baseboard, or an elaborately detailed mantle, Dan and his crew treat each project as if it was their own.
